Love. It’s a small word with a big meaning. In my native culture, expressing love through words like “I love you” wasn’t common. It wasn’t indicative of the absence of love; it just wasn’t verbally acknowledged. But living in the West, I learned that saying “I love you” can mean the world to someone.
I made this photo on my travels, using a 35mm film camera and double exposure. The word drew me in, and I spent several minutes playing with my camera. I was just having fun, and the result was amazing. It reminds me to bring joy, positivity, and self-love into everyday life.
