Please note that most photographers take vertical or horizontal shots, meaning your profile photo must be cropped to fit the square format. If you’re not confident about doing this yourself, you can ask your photographer to provide a web-resolution cropped image or use image editing software like Photoshop or Canva. You can adjust the crop to further fine-tune within the Linkedin app.
When uploading your photo, a size of around 1000 pixels should be sufficient for a clear image. Avoid uploading an image that is 100 pixels and then upsizing it to meet the required 400 pixels, as this will result in pixelation and compromise the sharpness of your headshot.
